Chepstow Gardens Community Project

As the organiser of the Chepstow Gardens Community Project when the Conservative Party Conference was held in Blackpool I managed to acquire eight picnic tables which I thought would be ideal for other community projects here in Blackpool.
I spotted the tables at the Conservative Party Conference and managed to convince the organisers that they would do more good here in Blackpool then back in London.

Working on the Chepstow Garden project was a fantastic experience and I'm very keen to do what I can to support similar community projects.  The residents who engaged with us to create the Gardens were fabulous and it is a true testament of what can be achieved when local people pull together.”

Chepstow Gardens was a community action project undertaken by the Conservative Party and involved conference delegates, Blackpool Council, Blackpool Coastal Housing and local residents to transform a piece of derelict land into a wonderful new community garden.
